EEG-Controlled Robotic Hand
April 2025
The goal of this project is to build a robotic hand that can be controlled by the user's thoughts,
or more technically accurate, their EEG signals. This cross-disciplinary undertaking involves
neuroscience, signal acquisition, signal processing, machine learning, and robotics.
Features
- Designing, prototyping, and 3D printing 16-DOF robotic hand (completed)
- Test: CV script to control the hand via user's own hand movements (completed)
- Circuit board design for EEG acquisition (completed)
- PCB manufacturing (in progress)
- Signal processing and machine learning for EEG decoding (in progress)
